There are so many outside straps you can carabiner attach things to on the outside. They are everywhere! Also, all the ones on the front top compartment are high quality Velcro.I used this on a recent trip and it was full but not even completely packed. I didn¡¯t use 2 of the compartments. The two I didn¡¯t use would be great for electronics. The one in the actual back of the backpack is padded and does not zip or close in anyway but is deep.The best and the worst for me personally:I love that the pack in itself is huge with great padding and has comfort straps and IS NOT heavy! The bad part is that I would like to use the 2 water bottle holders but they will not hold a wide variety one. I showed in the picture the blue one in and the green one out attached by a carabiner because it is too wide to fit. Basically the only flaw.It has zippers on both sides and a couple extra zipper tassels.
I have a ton of bags from this company, and they all do the job. The quality of the bag is good in some areas and bad in others. Some of the seams on this bag are double stitched which is for a tactical/outdoor use bag. This has single stitching in some areas which makes me question if this will hold up to serious testing and usage. But I didn’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for a white bag that I plan on using only in the winter. It is a decent bag, with good construction and good materials used. For med to light usage the other bags I have, have done well. Will have to see how this bag does with serious outdoor usage. I don’t think it’s made for that, but we will have to see. Not bad for what you pay for.
This backpack is amazing. It has so many expandable compartments and even the bottom can be left folded in if you don’t have as much stuff, or you can expand it out. The two water bottle pockets will hold the 40 oz metal water bottles or the 40 oz Stanley tumblers with spill-proof lids. There are strips of velcro to attach patches, which makes it look great. Nearly everything you would need for camping, hiking, or military maneuvers would fit in this bag. The straps are padded, and curved so they take the weight off the back and distribute it evenly so it is not hard to carry. The only negative thing I saw was that the adjustable straps on the main shoulder straps were left unfinished and started to unravel a little. They were not turned and sewed down like the others. I was able to fix that with no problem. The material is waterproof, and I tested that by pouring water over the backpack, with some packing paper in each compartment. I poured a lot of water over it, then opened it 30 minutes later. Not one drop of water had soaked through or got through the zippers. The zippers are very firmly sewn in and the zipper slides smoothly, with no snags. There are so many little mesh carry compartments to put small things in so you can just reach back and grab them (like bug spray, sunblock, chapstick, etc) without having to take the backpack off and rummage through it. Lots of little tags you can attach small things to, like keys, a flashlight, a pen knife, or other small tools. Very comfortable, even when fully packed. The straps cinch up tight to take care of any empty space inside so the contents can’t shift around while you are walking. Such a great bargain!
I bought this bag for my 10 year old daughter to use for school. It only lasted about 6 months before one of the seams started to split. Not very good quality. Would not buy again.
